Karen has her B.A. from SUNY Purchase (SUNY's ranking in the 2018 edition of Best Colleges is National Liberal Arts Colleges), studied musical theatre at Wagner College (Wagner College's ranking in the 2018 edition of Best Colleges is Regional Universities) and loves her life of rock n' roll and musical theatre in NYC and Los Angeles equally!

Growing up in Staten Island with music loving parents, she was influenced by a variety of styles and genres.  After experiencing childhood on Broadway and invites to happenings such as Eartha Kitt's 50th birthday party at Studio 54, and Gracie Mansion dinners with the mayor - she decided to pursue her degree and study her craft in NYC.  After college she moved to Los Angeles to further her experience in theatre, television and music.  She picked up a guitar and wrote dozens of songs which manifested in her first three albums... directed and produced for theatre fofo - what she likes to think of as the best theatre of her life, did a site specific piece for Wolfskill Theatre that was a drive-in-drama with people listening on their car radios to the action in front of them on a 4' x 8' high raked stage (reviewed in People Magazine)...

To this date, she is still in the studio and working on and behind the stage, a consummate professional and since leaving corporate America - someone that truly loves what she does every single day.

Karen is also an accomplished producer, director, choreographer and AEA Production Stage Manager - references/resume available upon request.
